3 most interesting courses to study in FUTO

Do you know the reason why student complain of school and finial decides to dropout. It's either the course they picked are not relevant to society or it's just to boring. It had been said that 90% of students of almost every Nigerian university are tired of studying the course their choose after the first year of schooling.

It is quite difficult to list the 3 most interesting courses to study in FUTO because I may not know what interests you. But based on the perception and marketability and how undergraduates are doing in their current field of study.

Please note that there is no particular way to arrange this list below because they are all tops in FUTO.


  1. Geology

Geology is a popular course in FUTO. It is also been observed as the top most interesting course to study in FUTO. This is because of so many activities prepared for the students.

The activities include field trips, well payed IT's and so much more. Not only that, there have the most funniest lecturers ever. 


Note this course will only be interesting for those who likes science of the earth and is inquisitive about it.  


2. Software engineering 

Software engineering is one of the newest course introduced in FUTO in the year 2019/2020 and it is already the most interesting course to study.



This is because of the academic curriculum the university has prepared for it's student. These include 

  • Web design and programming 
  • Game design and development 
  • Cryptography and application 
And more

Note this course is only going to be interesting if you love computers and it's application.


3. Civil engineering 

Civil engineering is one of the top engineering course in Nigeria and most interesting. This is because of the field trips arranged for the students to partake in. 



There have a record of having the most field trip takes to n FUTO.

There usually go to bridges, dams and different roads etc. 


These are the course that makes our 3 most interesting courses to study in FUTO. Remember that above all,  you should consider your abilities and personality, your likes and passion and the career opportunities above before you choose to stay any course at the university.
